Today in spare time I have been evaluating the distro, since the machine is powered by ubuntu 8.04, but I rather disappointed with ubuntu stability, there is mess-up on the gdm and I have no time to "tweak" since I have been very busy lately. When the machine powered by gentoo, almost 9 months with-out problem, very stable, but I wiped gentoo due to wanna to give Hardy Heron try (I dont like dual boot). Im considering to install gentoo again, and gentoo released 2008.0 but version for gentoo is absurd. My problem, I have not enough time to install gentoo, I donwloaded the latest portage and stage3. OpenSUSE is my another choice, as I aware lenovo choosed SLED for their pre-installed lenovo's laptops. I'm a mandriva user myself and if you want more choice for your repositories go to http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/?language=en there you will be able to access all repository and it will even generate a script for you to install them. The PLF repositories are quite interesting too for multimedia and peer to peer file sharing :) Hello that’s a good review.

Select the top entry on the list, then while pressing your shift key, select the last one on the list (to select them all). Once they are all selected, simply click on the Delete button. I am very impressed by Mandriva as it seems to me the most usable Linux in its out of the box state.
I had exactly the same problems regarding the repository choices as described above and probably more (this is one thing which in general seems a lot more straightforwardly organized in PCLOS). For example, I still have not figured out how to “undo” my choice regarding update or general repository type.
